Easter Celebrations!
Posted on Friday, April 17th, 2009 at 6:03 amWe had a fantastic Easter celebration!
It started with the arrival of this:
Like all packages from the fairy godmothers (aka Steph, Ali & Victoria) it arrived with a knock at our door. The boys, like trained puppies, know exactly what a knock like that means! They ran to the door squealing and about pummeled the postman trying to get to the box. They did manage to say thanks. The package was chock full of goodies – but the hit was the bouncy balls. I failed to take a picture – but they have provided plenty of entertainment around here with both W&W and their friends.
Saturday was our major Easter celebration as we headed to “The White House” of Glendora. Otherwise known as Granny Goosey’s house. She’d arranged a wonderful event filled with Easter egg dyeing, an egg roll, a spring picnic, and of course a killer Easter egg hunt.
We were joined by our Hatch cousins (who are also our neighbors and the boys best buddies), our Walker cousins (who were here from Utah- woot – woot!), Patti and Doug, Papa and KK, and Neal and Meleah. It was wonderful fun!
What egg roll would be complete without a roll down the hill!

(notice that Meleah is carrying Will’s bag. He delegated his work out.)

what do you mean “attempt” at a family picture. they turned out darling! what a good lookin’ bunch! oh, is walker raising his hand to ask a question in the last pic? too cute!
Shell, you look simply beautiful! Yep, I kissed the screen several times!
Steph
Ooh, I’m so glad you put these pictures up! Owen was thrilled to see himself and his cousins. It was fun to be included in the celebration, and wonderful to see you all!
What a fun day and I love the family pictures!!
That party looks like the ultimate Easter party. Awesome! I also like the family pics – isn’t it funny hard tricky it can be to get only 4 people smiling at the same time? You look very pretty, my dear. See you soon
Oh how wonderful! I miss those boys and you and E so much!!! I think I may have to plan a weekend getaway sooner than later!
That looks like so much fun! The boys are getting taller, I can’t believe it! And of course , you look beautiful! We miss you guys!
